We have used Corelle dishes for years. We love them because they are durable space-saving stackable high-quality and nice looking. I got my first set as a hand-me-down from my Mom and have added to the collection with several various orders as my own family has grown. Corelle seems to last forever and keep its quality.This particular size is “in-between” the larger plates and very small plates that currently ship when you buy a new current 16-piece Corelle set (4 each of large dinner plate small plate bowl and mug in the new sets with zero of these luncheon plates). They apparently don’t offer this plate size in multi-size sets anymore which is a shame. This luncheon plate is the favorite of our kids to grab when they make themselves a sandwich. It is also the perfect size for serving desserts like slices of pie or birthday cake.The “winter frost white” is simply a plain white plate. We added this 6-pack to our everyday collection that includes at least 3 different patterns plus now this white. They don’t all match but we are a busy family and it works great. For durable high-quality dishes we love our Corelle for everyday use. If you use Corelle daily but don’t have any of this luncheon plate size this 6-pack is a really nice buy to add.

As long as you don’t drop and break it these plates will last a lifetime. Easy to clean unless you leave an iron skillet in water on the plate for three days and let it rust.We used to buy “nice plates” for company but they always got scratched and messed up. Finally we decided our every day plates were nicer than the ones we bought as nice plates.These plates aren’t fancy china but they handle the refrigerator the microwave the dishwasher the sink knives spoons forks cutting scraping etc without a blemish. Half of our plates like this are hand me downs from parents which makes them 40+ years old.

My Corelle is about 35 years old and the pattern is long gone but these extra plates that are plain white are great. I use these smaller plates as dinner plates and recently broke a couple so I ordered these. I didn’t like that the price went up while they were sitting in my cart. This really irritates me. I have bought the plain very small bowls and the slightly larger bowls too but this is the first time I’ve seen the luncheon plates available. I’m so glad I never went with stoneware because these last forever and while the pattern isn’t “contemporary” it has faded any either. They aren’t totally unbreakable obviously but as long as I can get replacements it works for me. I’ve even gotten the Corelle dishes and bowls for my grandchildren to use instead of plastics or stoneware. Glass is best for the microwave they’re great in the dishwasher too.

I love these plates! I bought 2 sets of these along with the dinner plates bowls. and the 2 quart pasta bowl. My every day plates were very bulky and took up so much room. To help save even more room I bought a 2 tier wire rack so they all fit in a small space. I got rid of all the paper plates because these fit easily in the dishwasher and save tons of space. These are thin and very light weight but I use these for everyday use and save my others for a more formal look. They are definitely durable and can stand me shuffling them around and even dropping them. I would think these would also be wonderful for children or somebody with disabilities. I have 12 of each except for the pasta bowl which I will be buying 1 more. I’m going to buy 12 more of each for a total of 24 for casual BBQ’s/Parties. These are definitely not for someone that likes a heavy plate but for everyday use they are great. Packing and shipping was fantastic!
