Very pleased with this item. I am a 71 year old lady and with a little bit of head scratching I managed to assemble this cabinet all by myself. Have owned one of these before which was twice the price and no-where near as sturdy. To say I am over the moon with it is an understatement

I am absolutely thrilled with this item. It’s very sturdy and arrived with everything marked up for assembly and good pictorial instructions..but am hopeless at flat pack building and got at least three things wrong! still only took me 3 hours with a screwdriver and hammer. Now holding 4 pairs of trainers two pairs flip flops 5 pairs sandals ( two being birkenstoks) 1 pair ankle bootsa pair of heels paxc a Mac and umbrella. Thats 13 pairs of shoes!…it wont hold boots or anything with a very high instep or pkatform ( though one pair of my sandals have a two inch sole. Its great and looms very smart. Highly recommend

Easy to assemble and feels be rigid and durable when constructed. Looks like it would hold 3 pairs of ladies shoes on each of the 4 shelves but for my wider size 9 mens’ shoes I get two-and-a-half pairs per shelf. You will have to lay boots on their sides to allow the door to close.Tip: if you have polished leather shoes the toecap would rub against the sharp edge of the shelf above which will mark them (cloth shoes are fine). Buy a pack of 15mm Slide Binders (stationery product) and have a mini hacksaw available. When you assemble the small shelf boards behind each of the tilt-out doors slide the binders over the exposed bottom edge of each board before you screw them in place. It takes just under two binders per board use a fine tooth saw to cut down the second binder to length remembering to leave a little bit exposed at each end to fit into the bracket that holds them – the picture shows how.

Not fit for purpose. For flat-packed items at this price I don’t expect top quality. I do however expect it to do what it is designed for. However even with the adjustable shelf removed my husband and I have hardly been able to fit any shoes in. His size 10 lightweight trainers are ok but anything else sticks out that far that the unit won’t close. It is impossible to put his dress shoes in as they can’t be squashed and there is no hope for any of my chunky style shoes or trainers. With the shelf in even my lightweight size 8 pumps don’t fit. Again the shape means they stick out too far and the unit won’t close. I would recommend a good old fashioned set of shelfs instead.Unfortunately it is impossible to tell this until it’s assembled at which point it’s too late to return it.Oh and by the way the instructions are terrible. Thankfully my hubby is used to assembling this sort of thing.

Having started to build this cabinet I notice that three of the brackets were broken fortunately I managed to fix them and one of the screw packets two were missing again I had some other screws to replace the missing ones. This does suit the purpose I wanted. It would have been great if all the parts were in good condition. I feel a discount is needed. Look forward to your answer.
