KS1.0: I loved these when I first got them. Perfect size for summer beverages….or those of us who either drink a lot of water or who like a lot of ice in our beverages. I loved having the handle. Unfortunately all but one of them have now cracked up the sides and/or bottoms and have had to be thrown out. I’m not hard on glassware (still have the cheapo lemonade glasses I bought over 20 years ago!) and haven’t used them for anything except cold beverages. VERY disappointed in these for this price. Gotta remember that Ball just isn’t the company it used to be!
B. Barbier1.0: Edit: After 6 months…Down to 2 of the original 6. Fragile and extremely sensitive to temperature changes. Highly disappointing.Original review:The mugs are nice and would be four or five stars except two of them have broken already.One had a pinhole leak after hand washing it in the sink.Another one had the entire bottom drop out in the sink when hand washing. Picked it up by the handle and the bottom dropped out.Scared that they’re not going to even make it a year.Seems very brittle considering the thickness. Something went wrong making the batch ours came out of.
Gadget Guy3.0: Not the greatest quality. I put one in the freezer so that I could serve drinks in an ice cold mug. After taking the mug out of the freezer the bottom of the mug broke off and shattered glass went everywhere. This happened after tapping the bottom of the mug with a spoon it didn’t just fall off by itself. But I have never seen this happen with any cup or mug. So this isn’t the greatest quality and I don’t recommend putting these in the freezer.
CMAC5.0: These are super drinking jars. I use them for both hot and cold tea. No problem. The order did arrive damaged but that was due to poor packing materials and not the quality of the jars. I did report the problem and Amazon is seeing to the matter. I recommend the drinking jars. They are a great size and seem to hold the cold/heat well. They go through the dishwasher on either shelf. They are not for canning but as I said great for drinking hot or cold beverages.
